Young Nomads are back!
This whirlwind show takes us on a journey through our own British history, from our 1st monarch right up to modern times. Seen through the eyes of the people of the day, it features prominent historical characters and takes an amusing look at the twists and turns (and misfortunes!) of the British people.
Full of satire, sarcasm and wit, this play showcases the acting talents and comedic timing of the Young Nomads as they bring famous names to life.
So come and join us for a fun show. You never know, you may even learn some historical facts you never knew before!
Join us for our fun Easter Workshop!
This performing arts workshop is inspired by the hit movie and stage show School of Rock.
The workshop is designed to give young people the freedom and confidence to be creative and expressive as they explore the show using a variety of performing arts techniques including singing, dance, movement, acting and more.
No matter what your ability or experience, there is something for everyone!
Praise Jesus - the Nuns are back!
The Sisters of Perpetual Sewing miss the excitement of the old days when they were saving convents and reuniting long-lost families. So when they learn that the orphanage where Paul and Kate grew up is in peril, they can‘t wait to come to the rescue.
Everyone pitches in to mount a play to raise money, but it's no easy feat when Kate's expecting any day, Sally‘s hiding from stage-fright-stricken Paul after another flight from the altar, Mother Superior's acting is unexpectedly narcoleptic, and the sisters‘ award-winning wine keeps getting switched with the grape juice.
Watch as the merry mix-ups multiply in this warm and winsome sequel to the glorious Drinking Habits!

GETTING HERE
The Kings Theatre has a small car park with 2 disabled parking spaces. There is also a public car park opposite in Grosvenor’s Yard. Both car parks can fill up quickly, so please ensure you allow plenty of time to park and get to theatre and be seated before the performance begins.
The theatre is a 7 minute walk from the bus station, and a 12 minute walk from the train station.
Auditorium doors are closed at the advertised start time and Nomads reserves the right to operate a no admittance policy for late-comers to ensure the enjoyment of our seated patrons. Thank you.
We do not generally offer refunds unless a show is cancelled by us or there are extreme circumstances.
Ticket prices for concerts and other small productions (including any non-Nomads productions) may vary.
When a show sells out, we can take your details and contact you should tickets become available. This will be on a first come, first served basis.
We use hazers and other smoke effects which are non toxic and perfectly safe to use for both our cast and patrons. Musicals use the theatre's sound system which includes microphones and amplified music, we therefore recommend that you consider carefully before purchasing a ticket for babies or very young children, both for their own enjoyment and that of our other patrons.
